Author's Chapter Notes:
Just something I thought of...

Elizabeth Weir had often wondered about the power of people's thoughts.

How they affected those around them.

How they influenced those around them.

How they managed to manipulate those around them.

She'd been born into a world of diplomacy. Words were her main weapon. Her main weapon against those determined to damage.

Damage their countries.

Damage their children.

Damage themselves.

Damage all they knew.

Damage all anyone knew.

Damage HER.

But she'd never truly understood the power of the people's thoughts until she slipped her hand into that of the lost little girl with the inky black hair who thought no one cared.

Elizabeth knew what it was like to feel like no one cared. No one had come for her either. They had left her behind too...she never thought she'd die alone.

Never thought she'd be angry enough to wish harm on those she felt responsible. Never thought she had it in her to even wish harm on those who she once called her family.
Slipping her hand into that of the lost little girl with the inky black hair who thought no one cared made it all better.

She knew then that she wasn't the only one.

That she wasn't the only one so badly let down by those who were supposed to protect her.

Appreciate her.

Love her.

Finding the lost little girl with the inky black hair had been Elizabeth's salvation. She knew now that it was okay to feel the way she did.

And if that little lost girl with the inky black hair was only influencing Elizabeth's dark thoughts for her own personal and emotional gain...

Then Elizabeth would never know.

Chapter End Notes:
So. Can you guess who she is yet?
